It is the mission of Madison County Greenways & Trails Inc. to assist the communities and local governments of Madison County in creating, developing, and maintaining a system of multi-use, non-motorized trails that will interconnect the people of our county to their homes, businesses, historic sites, churches, schools, parks, and other places.

The intent of our organization is to promote healthier lifestyle choices through activities that include but are not limited to bicycling, skating, horseback riding, walking, canoeing, kayaking, and hiking. We are a 501(c)(3)non-profit, tax-exempt organization and accept donations to further our mission.
